Love peanut butter but trying to watch the fat or calories? Is it really possible to get the flavor of peanuts with only 15% of the fat? Sounds too good to be true ... or is it?

Fitness Tip

  • Because of what you’ve been lead to believe and the fact that there are about 4,000 cardio machines at the gym trying to reinforce that belief, it’s a constant battle for me to try to convince people to walk past the treadmill and to pick up dumbbells instead.

It’s not to say there isn’t a place for cardio… especially the right kind of cardio, like interval training. This should come as good news because you can ditch the days of pounding out 90 minutes of boring, go nowhere exercise on the elliptatreadclimbcycle.

But if you’re looking for a true, long-term solution for shedding fat, you need to start strength training STAT!

FACT: One pound of muscle burns 6 calories per pound per day while one pound of fat only burns 2 calories per pound per day.

Cardio doesn’t build muscle, but strength training does and the last time I checked, 6 >2.

    Adjustable Dumbbells

The Bowflex SelectTech adjustable dumbbells are the most important pieces of equipment I own. One set of dumbbells that can range from 2.5 to 52.5 pounds, replacing the need for 15 separate sets. Easy to use. Easy to store.

If you can only have one piece of equipment, this is the piece to have.

And with Amazon, you know you'll get a great price and quick shipping!

Testimonials

  • I have insulin resistance and my blood sugar was way high. I knew I had to do something, so when I heard about Matthew, I decided to check it out.  It has helped me tremendously.  In just about 4 months my blood sugar went way down!!  The doctor is happy and so am I.  I also enjoyed doing the 90 Day Fitness Challenge.  It helped me take more responsibility for every area of my life.

  • Vitamix Review: Our Favorite Appliance

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
