  • The problem with our diets isn’t meat. The problem is the ratios in which we eat it. It takes up way to much space on our plates.

    An easy way to cut back on meats and increase the produce is to pick one day a week where you eat vegan or vegetarian. This will remove 2-3 servings of meat from your normal weekly amount and will force you to get out of your comfort zone and try more produce. Make it fun and get your friends and family involved. Share recipes and encourage one another. And since it’s just for one day a week, it’s not a whole lot to ask of yourself.

    So again, high quality meat isn’t bad. Excess is. Cutting out a day a week will help you keep your ratios in check.
