Those giant inflatable balls you see in the gym, you can do far more than just crunches on them. Sit upright on one and do shoulder presses, arm curls, or overhead tricep extensions. Lay back with your thighs parallel to the floor and feet planted on the ground and do dumbbell flys or presses. Put your feet on the ball and hands on the floor and do decline pushups or bring your knees to your chest for in and outs. The list goes on and on. These moves will require you to use your core (abs/obliques/glutes/lowerback/hip flexors) to give you… wait for it… “stability” in your exercise.

If you want variety and to build a strong core, incorporate a stability ball into your workout.
