When you experience muscle soreness 24-48 hours after a workout, that means your muscles are changing. They’ve been pushed beyond what they’re used to and are building back stronger.

Ideally, you’d be sore every 4-6 weeks as you change up your routine. If your muscles are not experiencing periodic soreness, they’re likely not changing the way you’re hoping. You may be maintaining your current strength, which is fine, as long as you know that’s what’s happening. But if you’re wanting bigger or stronger or more toned muscles, change your workouts up more often to keep your muscles from plateauing.

I decided to try the 21 day fix and am so glad I did. Due to an injury I wasn’t able to complete the exercise part of it. I still lost weight and owe so much of my success to Kim. She motivated and encouraged me when my injury was really getting me down. She always had time to answer my questions and she checked in with me daily. What I loved the most was that she held me accountable! I really don’t think I would have stuck with it on my own.
