For many people, the holidays bring more stress than joy. Stress can trigger the release of cortisol and when cortisol goes up, your weight usually does also. And that’s only half the stress problem. How do we handle stress? We tend to go to food and/or alcohol to “fix” the situation. Add on to that the escape of movies and TV, the anti-exercise, and you could be in for a world of hurt.

If you can be proactive in minimizing stress (do less shopping and do it early, not saying “yes” to every party, stay away from crowded malls/rude people/heavy traffic, etc) you can be proactive in minimizing or eliminating that dreaded winter weight gain!

After having my son, I tried for years to lose weight, but with little success. Jennie offered positive support and accountability. She has helped provide meal ideas and workout program schedules always with my goals for my nutrition in mind. She has been such an encourager and great support. Jennie was never pushy or shaming. I can always count on her to check in on me and to show grace when needed.
