Love peanut butter but trying to watch the fat or calories? Is it really possible to get the flavor of peanuts with only 15% of the fat? Sounds too good to be true ... or is it?

Fitness Tip

  • Salt gets a lot of negative attention and perhaps deservedly so. At the very least, it can raise blood pressure and cause excess water retention.

If you want to lose weight (not to be confused with shedding fat), reduce your salt consumption. Once you release the extra water, you’ll feel less bloated and clothes will become a little roomier.

The easiest way to avoid extra sodium is by steering clear of processed foods (soups, chips, frozen meals, etc) and fast food, all of which are loaded with sodium. And secondly, put away the salt shaker. No point having it stare you in the face at every meal, tempting you to give it a dash or two… or three.

Over time, you’ll get used to the flavor of less salty foods and hopefully won’t want to return to your previous ways.

Thick bars spread the weight over a larger area of the hand. Trainers credit this with making training safer and less likely to cause injury. They also make the forearms extensors and flexors work more evenly which can help avoids imbalances, weaknesses and injury.

Plus, thicker handles stimulate much more muscle activation in the hands and arms. More muscle activation means much bigger muscle and strength gains.

Testimonials

  • After having my son, I tried for years to lose weight, but with little success. Jennie offered positive support and accountability. She has helped provide meal ideas and workout program schedules always with my goals for my nutrition in mind. She has been such an encourager and great support. Jennie was never pushy or shaming. I can always count on her to check in on me and to show grace when needed. I really appreciate all the help she has provided the last two years and look forward to her support and encouragement as I continue down a healthier path.

  • Vitamix Review: Our Favorite Appliance

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
