Vitamix Smoothie Recipe Requirements
I require every Vitamix smoothie recipe to have at least one vegetable for each fruit, otherwise there is just too much sugar (though we will occasionally make a fruit-only smoothie as a dessert on a designated dessert day).
I also require every Vitamix smoothie recipe to have some kind of protein component, be it whey protein powder, non-fat yogurt, Shakeology, and even cottage cheese (though I wouldn’t recommend that last one).
Vitamix Smoothie Recipe Ingredients
- 2 ounces of fresh organic spinach
- 7 ounces of frozen peaches
- 1/2 scoop of a good vanilla whey protein powder (or Tropical Strawberry Shakeology)
- cup water
Vitamix Smoothie Recipe Directions
Combine water, spinach and protein powder in Vitamix and blend till smooth. Add peaces and blend till it’s the consistency you desire. Makes two and half cups worth of smoothie.

Vitamix Review
I want you to forget everything you thought you knew about blenders because you’ve been misled, duped, snowed, tricked into thinking you owned one. What you own would like to be a blender.
