The reason many people fail at getting in shape (or at least they don’t get the results they’re seeking) is because they rationalize their eating by the fact that they worked out. “I worked out today, so I can have this deep-fried donut bacon burger.”

Problem is, we OVERESTIMATE how many calories we’ve burned, and UNDERESTIMATE how many calories we’re consuming. You see, it’s much easier to eat 1200 calories than burn them. And if you’re not honest with yourself about these numbers, the body is notoriously blunt about reminding us of the truth.

So if you’re endeavoring on new fitness ambitions and are planning on improving your exercise but not your nutrition, I want to challenge you to reconsider. Workouts are only part of the equation.

After having my son, I tried for years to lose weight, but with little success. Jennie offered positive support and accountability. She has helped provide meal ideas and workout program schedules always with my goals for my nutrition in mind. She has been such an encourager and great support. Jennie was never pushy or shaming. I can always count on her to check in on me and to show grace when needed. I really appreciate all the help she has provided the last two years and look forward to her support and encouragement as I continue down a healthier path.
