Take time to make a collage with pictures that represent you reaching your goals (a vacation destination, an outfit, a trip to the park out exercising with your kids, a reward piece of furniture, whatever motivates you)—and place it somewhere you can see it daily. When a craving hits or lethargy sets in, ask yourself if giving in will bring you closer to reaching the goals represented in your collage.

In other words, write a story in pictures of you reaching your goals… and then live it!

I was feeling defeated and frustrated with my health due to a chronic illness, but Matthew and the group met me where I was at and provided the balance of grace and truth that I needed. I lost 10 lbs during my first challenge, but more importantly I learned to be faithful with my responsibilities (eating well, exercising, etc.) and to trust God with the rest.
