BRITNI H.

Britni Hammond

Location: Little Elm, TX

Specialty: Runners and young professionals.

Random: Toast with chunky peanut butter with an over easy egg on top is my fave!

Hi, I’m Britni. Thanks for considering me as your Independent Beachbody Coach. I have a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals and living their lives to the fullest! I have been a Christ follower since I was 6, but it wasn’t until my junior year in college I really made my faith my own. My junior year in college is when my passion for fitness and nutrition started. Since then, I have ran multiple races including a marathon. When I trained for races I learned the importance of lifting, stretching, and proper nutrition.

One of my favorite verses is 1 Corinthians 9:24 (NIV) “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.” I enjoy training and running road races which I can apply it to my faith as well. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. We need to diligently train for life and get rid of things that hinder us or cause us to slow down.

ANYONE can accomplish their dreams and goals if they have a desire to keep going even if the road gets tough. Having someone help you along your journey to a healthy life is what can really help push you through the rough times. I would love to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Love peanut butter but trying to watch the fat or calories? Is it really possible to get the flavor of peanuts with only 15% of the fat? Sounds too good to be true ... or is it?

Fitness Tip

  • Ever been working out and midway through you feel like you can’t finish… I’m not talking feeling a little tired, I mean you feel like you’ve hit the proverbial brick wall? This is known as “bonking” and it occurs when you run out of glycogen and blood sugar during your workout.

If you notice this happening regularly, you might be the exception to the “no pre workout snack rule” we talked about yesterday. An easy fix is to have 50–100 calories of simple carbs (such as a half of a banana), say around 10 minutes before you start working out. Of if you want even fewer calories, have a strong cup of coffee or a good pre-workout formula.

Crossrope Review: The Perfect Piece of Cardio Equipment?

There is no shortage of cardio equipment from which to choose. Yet none of them give you more bang for your buck than Crossrope. As you'll see in this Crossrope review, it very well be the perfect piece of cardio equipment.

Testimonials

  • As I reached my mid-40s, a lot of stress, very little exercise, and running too many people to the doctor resulted in lots of fast food. I was feeling tired and run down. Jenny Glenn contacted me about a challenge group and I joined. I took baby steps. Jenny was always there to encourage me and guide me and pick me up when I felt I had failed. I am doing much better. Jenny has continued to always be there for me and encourage me.

  • Vitamix Review: Our Favorite Appliance

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
