People are often concerned about pinpointing the optimal time to workout. The answer is simple really. The best time to workout is whenever it fits your schedule. Whatever time you can consistently get in your workouts is the best time. There is some evidence that you are stronger in the morning and it jumpstarts your metabolism working out first thing. But that doesn’t work for everybody. Others prefer it in the afternoon when they’ve had a couple meals to fuel them. Some prefer at their lunch hour and others after work.

BOTTOM LINE: You have to do what works for you.

So don’t fall victim to analysis to paralysis and only workout at some mysterious “perfect” time. The perfect time is a time of day where it will be come a consistent lifetime habit.
