  • Mindless Eating

Mindless Eating is an illuminating and groundbreaking book. Food psychologist Brian Wansink shows why you may not realize how much you’re eating, what you’re eating–or why you’re even eating at all. Easily the most interesting nutrition book you'll ever read.

    PB2 Review

Love peanut butter but trying to watch the fat or calories? Is it really possible to get the flavor of peanuts with only 15% of the fat? Sounds too good to be true ... or is it?

Fitness Tip

  • People are quick to say they don’t like exercise, yet admit they’ve only tried one or two things. It’s like saying you don’t like food and all you’ve eaten is beets or Brussel sprouts… there is SO MUCH MORE to try than beets and Brussel sprouts! Test out a new workout DVD one week; try new classes, like kickboxing or dance the next; HIIT may work when endurance cardio has not. And all versions of an exercise are not created equally: not a fan of a rowing machine, but real life paddling could really appeal to you; you may not like road running, but love trail running; you might not like free weights, but a strength class or CrossFit might give you the group dynamic you need.

Try enough forms of exercise and my guess is you can find at least two or three that you can not just tolerate, but enjoy.

Testimonials

  • I have insulin resistance and my blood sugar was way high. I knew I had to do something, so when I heard about Matthew, I decided to check it out.  It has helped me tremendously.  In just about 4 months my blood sugar went way down!!  The doctor is happy and so am I.  I also enjoyed doing the 90 Day Fitness Challenge.  It helped me take more responsibility for every area of my life.

  • Vitamix Review: Our Favorite Appliance

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
