“It’s in my genes… I’ll always be this way.” “I just hate to exercise.” “Eating healthy is expensive.” “I don’t have the time.” “I have too hard a time eating right.” “I don’t have the support.” And so on…

Here’s the thing: those are all just excuses. That might sound incompassionate but that doesn’t negate its truth. And you have to be careful that you don’t resign yourself to these excuses and start using them as justification for your behavior.

You see, being fit and getting the physique you want is hard, but it’s hard for EVERYONE… not just you. It takes sacrifice for EVERYONE, not just you. It takes discipline for EVERYONE, not just you. Nobody who ever got results worth getting got them without hard work, dedication, and commitment.

So don’t be a victim of your own excuses. Your struggles don’t define you.
