  • Too often, we exercise solely for the sake of results: shed fat, get stronger, get faster, lower blood pressure, look better, etc. All those things are fine, but don’t forget to have fun! Schedule workouts where you’re not measuring anything (time, distance, weight lifted, reps finished, etc). Just exercise for the sake of exercise, be it a hike, an off-road run, a new class at the gym, a swim or a bike ride, you name it. This will help insure that you don’t burn out while always only focusing on improvement.
