  • When eating breads, the goal is to eat “whole grain” breads made from… you guessed it… whole grains. These retain the germ and bran of the grain, which helps maintain the fiber and nutrients.

    Problem is that manufacturers are getting crafty with their labels, using terms like “wheat flour.” Wheat flour is NOT NECESSARILY whole grain or whole wheat flour. Unless it says “whole” it’s likely just another refined flour and has no business being in your bread box.
