  • Often times, we misinterpret thirst for hunger. We then grab some food to cure said hunger, have a beverage to wash down said food, and we feel better.

    But next time, at signs of first rumblings, drink 8 ounces (or so) of water and wait 20 minutes. If you’re still hungry, then eat your food. What you will likely find is that often times, the water was enough to do the trick and you won’t consume the unnecessary calories.
