  • If your goal is to get skinny, I’d encourage you to rethink it. There are plenty of skinny people that are far from healthy. Furthermore, skinny usually precludes having much muscle, and muscle is important on a number of levels (increased bone density, decreased injuries, increased physical performance, and so on).

    Nothing wrong with wanting to improve appearance, decrease body fat, have more confidence, etc. But all these things can still happen when change our goal from getting skinny to getting healthy.
