Fitness Tip

  • Often times with exercise, we can get part of the way, but getting a little extra help would be nice. That’s where some equipment comes in handy. For instance, wrist straps can be used until your forearms are strong enough to hold the barbells. Pull-up assists can help you work on your pull-ups until you can do them unassisted. Or weight belts can be used until your core is strong enough to carry the whole load. Once you’ve mastered these moves without them, you can go up in weight/reps.

There is no shame in getting some help from such tools. They will help you bridge the gap and break barriers!

Testimonials

  • I decided to try the 21 day fix and am so glad I did. Due to an injury I wasn’t able to complete the exercise part of it. I still lost weight and owe so much of my success to Kim. She motivated and encouraged me when my injury was really getting me down. She always had time to answer my questions and she checked in with me daily.  What I loved the most was that she held me accountable!  I really don’t think I would have stuck with it on my own.

  • Vitamix Review: Our Favorite Appliance

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
