Fitness Tip

  • If someone told you that they wanted their car to last a long time, but you noticed they were putting some water in their gas tank, not changing their oil regularly, never rotating their tires or changing their air filters or getting tune-ups, what would you think? Would you really believe them since there was such a disconnect between what they said they wanted and their actions?

They same thing goes with fitness: actions speak louder than words. If you’re actions (eating, exercise, sleeping right, drinking enough water, etc.) aren’t lining up with your goals (want to shed fat, get stronger, run such’n’such a race, wear a bikini, etc), you’re making a liar out of yourself. And unlike other kinds of lies, you’re only hurting yourself. The longer this goes on, the more likely you’ll start to believe that your goals can’t be achieved… which is NOT true.

So… stop saying and start doing. Have integrity with yourself and your fitness goals will soon follow.

Testimonials

  • As I reached my mid-40s, a lot of stress, very little exercise, and running too many people to the doctor resulted in lots of fast food. I was feeling tired and run down. Jenny Glenn contacted me about a challenge group and I joined. I took baby steps. Jenny was always there to encourage me and guide me and pick me up when I felt I had failed. I am doing much better. Jenny has continued to always be there for me and encourage me.

Vitamix. Is it everything they say it is? I'm here to tell you, it's more. This multi-purpose, powerhouse of a machine will not only help get you healthier, you'll be looking for excuses to use it. It's without its flaws, but we wouldn't trade it for 100 pounds of organic kale.
