  • It happens to the best of us… a one-time treat turns into a one-a-day treat. And an extra rest day turns into an occasional exercise day. Or the vacation we’re on starts strong and turns to mess. And the gains we’ve worked so hard to achieve have been compromised.

    Hope is not lost my friends. Just have some patience. A good rule of thumb is however long you spent compromising your progress, give yourself twice as long to get back to where you were. So if you put on three pounds of fat while on a week vacation, give yourself two weeks of diligent exercise and clean eating to get rid of that three pounds. This will not only help set expectations, but it may be the motivator you need next time to not slip for very long in the first place.
